DAY 1: ARRIVE IN MARRAKECH

DAY 2: MARRAKECH - THE VALLEY HAS BOUGUEMEZ - NIGHT LODGING AT THE INHABITANT

Early morning transfer to Azilal lunch and then we will continue towards the Tizi does Oughbar before reaching the happy valley of Ait Bougmez, Agouti we reach the first village Happy Valley then Timite. We have time to explore the village and the daily contact with the Berbers. Duration : 5 :30 drive. Accommodation : Overnight lodging at the inhabitant

DAY 3: TIMITE (1750M) - THE VALLEY AROUS - IKKIS AROUS (2300)

We head to the Tamalout village and Idoukalen foot collective granary Sidi chita. We crossed the fields and take the time to observe the daily work of the villagers before ascended the small valley Arous then to the sheep Ikkis not Arous duration:. 5h walk. , Elevation : 500m climb, Bivouac Night in tents

DAY 4: IKKIS AROUS 2250M - COL TARKEDIT 3400M - TARKEDIT 2900M.

We climb to the Col Tarkedit at 3400m above sea level, a few stops before the Col where the view is magic on the string and the top Mgoun Mgoun 4068 m. a short descent to tray Tarkedit frequented by nomads duration : 5 :30 walk Elevation : 1050m ascent and 500m descent. Bivouac : Night in tents

DAY 5: TARKADIT 2900M - ASCENSION MGOUN 4071 M - SOURCES OULILIMT - 2600M

A long step 8 hour walk, we climb to the ridge with panoramic views up the ascent M'goun roof top central atlas, where the view is splendid throughout the Massif Mgoun and remote valleys (valley of the Draa and Dades ...), then a long descent with beautiful scenery to our camp Duration : 8 :30, Elevation : 1170m ascent and 1470m negative, Bivouac : Night in tents

DAY 6: SOURCES OULILIMT - 2600 M - COL DES AIT IMI 2905 M – BOUGMEZ - TIMITE

Meet nomadic family with their herds. we climb to the Col Ait Imi (2905 m), panoramic view from the Col on all the surrounding mountains and back view of the Mgoun. Descent to source Ait Imi place for lunch in the shade Then we cross the village Ait Imi before reaching Timite Overnight homestay. Hot shower in the evening. For a group of ten people Méchoui the soir.La time : 6H walk Elevation : 650m ascent and 1000m descent Accommodation : Overnight lodging at the inhabitant.

DAY 7: AIT BOUGMEZ - AZILAL - MARRAKESCH

Transfer taxi or mini bus to Marrakech.

DAY 8: RETURN FLIGHT.

HIKING NOMAD TRAILS TO THE SUMMIT OF M’GOUN FROM MARRAKECH OVERVIEW Hiking Nomad Trails to the summit of M’Goun lies in the beautiful Central High Atlas, and at 4068m is the second highest peak in Morocco. This five day trek takes us from Ait Bougmez, one of the most inviting and friendly trailheads in the High Atlas, to the summit of M’Goun along nomad trails, avoiding for the most part the trails of other trekking groups. Camping in wilderness locations, with only the occasional nomad family for company, it’s a perfect escape for weekend hiker to more experienced trekker. The summit is a non-technical climb offering some of the best views in Morocco over the south of the country to the fringes of the Sahara desert. En route to Ait Bougmez we visit the splendid Ouzoud Falls and post-trek there’s a chance to explore Morocco’s most exotic cities Marakech .
